About
Break Force Breaking is a London based specialist dance organisation, founded in 2020 by Gabriel Infante, that practises the dance style of Breaking/Breakdance. We believe that Breakdance has the power to supplement a healthy and creative lifestyle that can positively impact peoples livelihood. Our organization focuses on opening doors for various communities to the Breaking world through events, inclusive classes, exhilarating performances and community outreach. With a network of experienced and knowledgeable Breakers, Break Force aims to guide you in the right direction whether if you are an experienced or just getting your journey started.
Breaking is a street dance style that was made on the streets of the Bronx, New York in the 70s coming from African-American and Latino Communities. It is also the first dance style of Hip-Hop. Breaking is known for its acrobatic style where there are a lot of moves performed close to the floor in circular movements and upside down either on their hands, head or whatever creative way they are able to hold themselves up.
The main categories of Breaking consist of Top Rock, Go Downs, Footwork, Freezes and Powermoves.
The dance style is originally called Breaking but over time through the media the dance style was widely named as "Breakdance" which is not usually a term used by practitioners of the dance style. They would usually call it Breaking, B-boying or B-girling. Practitioners would call themselves B-boys, B-girls or Breakers in general. Check out the video below to see some Breaking Battles.

Instructors

B-boy Infante Director/Head Coach
Gabriel Infanté (stage name "Infanté") has been developing his interpretation of Breaking for 13 years as well as gaining specialist knowledge from respectable pioneers and practitioners. Starting his journey as a hobby at school, Infanté progressively furthered his passion into a career by passing his knowledge and shining a light on the beauty of Breaking. Infanté believes that through Breakforce, Breakdance will have a platform to display its enriching benefits in addition to its amazing display of unpredictable movement and physicality. As well as driving Break Force, he represents his Breaking-Crew "GullyLDN" on the competitive and commercial stage.
